Palin’s bus tour keeps itinerary secret, baffles media and supporters

Sarah Palin's national bus tour kicks off today at "Rolling Thunder", a biker rally in Washington, DC, but where it will go tomorrow is anyone's guess. "Rolling Thunder" representatives have gone on the record saying that Palin was not asked to speak at the rally and as of this morning, no one in the organization seemed to know what her role in the event would be.

The rally begins at the Pentagon and proceeds to the Vietnam Memorial and is intended to raise awareness of American POW's and soldiers missing in action.

Palin's organization has declined to publish a list of dates for the bus tour, even to supporters. Vague plans have been floated of touring Civil War battle sites and locations like the home of the Liberty Bell in Philadelphia, then "up through New England". However the Chairman of the Connecticut Republican Party, Chris Healy says he has "heard nothing on this, nor have I been contacted" about a visit from the former Vice Presidential candidate.

here? I don't get it. I hear more about Palin here than from all other sources combined. I rarely see anything about her anywhere else, but there's post after post after post about her on the DU. She's like an obsession here. :wtf:
