Joe Biden had been in the Senate since 1979 and VP for 2yrs and is worth less than that.

McHenry is completely agitated that there may be a consumer protection agency put in place to oversee the consistently criminal banking industry.

Some say that McHenry deserves a thorough investigation by the ethics committee.....better yet...an independent prosecutor.

4. Politics pays if you are a republican.
Actually, we, the taxpayers, end up paying the price for their quid-pro-quo legislative betrayals. I hope someday the bottom 95% wake up and get united on the economic issues because they get away with it by dividing us on the social issues.

7. I remember that well - amazing that these unsavory characters get promoted in the GOP, not
shamed or indicted. GOP looks for thugs to run for office.

8. Real conservatives DON'T like McHenry from what I've heard around his district.
What they feel is FEAR of McHenry and his revenge tactics.

11. If I had the 6% advantage in annual return on my investments
as an average US Congressman does over an average punter, I would be a millionaire too. And that is not
6% of return, that's 6% of the principal. An average US Senator does even better with additional 5%
advantage. That is what most of them got into the Congress for in the first place. What, you thought
it was taking care of public business?

13. Yes. But deeply closeted and virulently homophobic.
McHenry is a very scary individual.
