I live in California, and it's true, we like to style ourselves as the liberal vanguard of the country. But that's not always true. I just saw an article that reminded me WI has 3 GOP state senators who are on notice that they're hated so bad, they're up for termination. I think we all owe a debt of gratitude to Wisconsin liberals.

1. Believe it or not my last name was Badger for awhile when I was married.

I changed it back to my maiden name as soon as I got divorced. who wants to be names after a vicious animal. although I do think all animals are supposed to be here.

I wasn't fond of the badger as an iconic symbol when I moved to Wisconsin, but turns out its pretty useful. And Wisconsin has a long and proud tradition of standing up for working people. I'm proud to be part of it.
