but when we do have a little, I do everything possible to make sure it goes toward a local business. Now that idea has spread to our oldest daughter, who was able to get her first job awhile ago and now is able to make choices as to how to spend her own money. We took some time today to compare prices online, with a big chain and then a small biz and she made the choice on her own: "I'd rather that Blazin' Pet Store get my money because everything the owner does supports us HERE and not some selfish CEO who never even takes the time to take care of their customers or ask them what they want."

Her Momma is proud. :)

My older daughter participated in one of the Walks for Choice today, up in Utah. I used to make her go to these events with me. She is young and making these decisions for herself now. I completely understand how proud you must be.
