6. They're also everyday occurrences in that part of the country....
Everything doesn't have to make us gasp and grasp our collective chests.

8. No they aren't every day occurrences
We haven't had any here where I live this season. This is the first one I've heard about this spring.

And they still kill people.

9. I know you live there and all but...
They would appear to be pretty common in the area during the spring.

16. I hope it destroys the Wesboro compound and nothing else.
I wonder how Phelps and his cult would try and spin that.

17. turns out I may be raptured
the old fashioned way.

There's this guy on TV who has this faith in something he calls "doppler radar".

I remain skeptical, of course, but these sirens are kinda freaking me out a little.

I am reminded what Stephen King wrote in one of the Bachman books "Someday emergency crews will stop scaring the crap out of people they are coming to rescue ..."

The thunder doesn't help either, especially since it is not raining.

19. I hate it when it doesn't rain
I know they say it isn't true but for so many years they told us if it was raining a tornado wouldn't touch down. So now when there is a storm but no rain, I go back to when I was little kid and the grownups were scared because it wasn't raining.
