Can't figure out if this photo is 'real' or not - Mississippi River Flooding
I can't figure out if this photo is 'real' or not - but it's an amazing image nonetheless.

Here's where I saw the photo, but honestly, I'm not really familiar with this site. I don't know if this is just someone with photoshop/graphic skills who conjured this up out of their imagination or this image is on a 'design' site b/c of the design of the levee built around this home or ???

3. Look at the patterns of the waves..
They are reacting to the presence of the levee.. It's real.

8. Wow - thanks for posting that link! Lots of other amazing flooding photos
at that link that I'd never seen before.

Here are two homeowners that tried to do similar as in the OP pic, but it didn't quite work out as well:

11. The first house actually has
a pump working to drain the water. Hours and hours of work. Amazing.

I don't know what to look for.

16. Just to the left of the pole that's on the left side of the enclosed area.
There's a hose coming out of the enclosed water, then the pump, then more hose going over the levee and ejecting water outside the enclosure.

15. It's real...
Apparently they were warned way ahead of time that there would be flooding...so many prepared for it. They had the time, eqipment and man power to do it.

CNN keeps showing one where they saved a huge area. They have electricity, internet..everything. But they are probably driving each other crazy. Although they have boats too.
