Schwarzenegger puts acting career on hold
Schwarzenegger puts acting career on hold

BAKERSFIELD, California — Former Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger has asked his talent agency to put all of his pending entertainment projects on hold as he focuses on his personal life.

A statement from Schwarzenegger's office Thursday says the former "Terminator" star has asked Creative Artists Agency to put all of his motion picture projects already under way or being negotiated on hold until further notice.

"Governor Schwarzenegger is focusing on personal matters and is not willing to commit to any production schedules or timelines. This includes Cry Macho, The Terminator franchise and other projects under consideration. We will resume discussions when Governor Schwarzenegger decides." the statement says.

7. Good call. No use earning money for Maria.
Wait until the divorce settlement and then start making money.

9. But is this just an act?
Besides, I thought his acting career was already over -- ever since Jerry Brown took office. ;-)

10. I'll bet all of those "offers" he has been talking about didn't exist.
He has been saying he had Studio commitment for at least one film that was to begin production immediately.

Dead in Water.

Good riddance to a really bad actor.

12. I agree
He sounds like Charlie Sheen here. Are that many good offers? I imagine if he wants to act again he would need to produce his own projects at least at first to prove to people at his age and after his box office layoff audience still want to see him do whatever it was he did.

11. hell, he's been acting like he had nothing to do with that kid or woman
for thirteen years, does he consider getting out of the sperminators office as "quitting acting"?
