The savaging of Newt here is deplorable
I mean, just because he's a card carrying homophobic, racist, sexist, elitist(in denial), corporatist, hate monger, who really doesn't need a white hood anymore, DU should have some compassion for the guy.

Oh, never mind, no more glitter for you asshole.

3. I actually felt sorry for Newt when I saw...

...the glitter incident. He looked like a lost little boy. But then again, that is typical
of most malignant narcissists and sociopaths. They're incredibly weak and damaged inside.
Power and status that they've attained with fake charm--covers up who they really are and blinds
people to how sick they really are.

So, I didn't feel sorry for him for too long. He needs to feel small and lost--because that's
truly what he is. He needs to deal with that instead of covering up his pathology by wrecking
this country and lashing out with lies and hate speech.

So many of these right-wingers--especially the blowhards on the radio--have personality disorders
and addictions. They cover up their true problems by being destructive and pushing lies and hate.
This behavior is a way to cover up their damage.

These people are scary. They are completely inauthentic, stunted children who should not be in
control of anything (a radio program, a Senate Seat, a television show, a corporation, etc.)
because they are NOT in control of themselves.

8. But seriously....
Why not just let the right take him down? They seem to be doing at least a good a job as we are.

9. Let's not box Newt in.
I mean, there are fucked up behaviors that haven't been thought up yet. And they're waiting for Newt to discover them. As president Newt could use his complete "brilliance" to invent fubars that deny imagination. I grasp at words to express the things Newt could do if we just give him the power. I am boggled.

10. My pet peeve: "he's brilliant"...
People who are brilliant do not make so many gaffes and contradictory statements in the field of supposed expertise.

Bill Maher asked how many of Newtie's "big ideas" ever turned out to be correct.

11. Brilliant people don't keep repeating the same failed ideology either
and it's pretty obvious that the Reagan Revolution pretty much mucked up everything for about 99% of the population.

But hey, who needs facts when you have belief?

15. maybe he's self-destructing and/or has even less of a chance of being the nominee than Trump
so people don't think he's worth getting concerned about.
