I just wrote an email to Dick Durban under an anonymous address.

I wanted to think him for standing up against Eric Cantor when he tried to destroy SS & Medicare. Dick told him "NO, We're not doing it! That would destroy those programs!" BTW, Eric got all pissed off and went home! i told him & all the other Dem's to stand tough against the Repugs and that the people were behind them.

It aggravates me that you can't write to a Senator if you don't reside in their State. I was determined to get that message to his office, so I picked a town in Ill. and used a common street name to find an address. I guess I shouldn't do that kind of thing, but I only do it once a year or so.

I've got 2 AH'S for my State Senators (Georgia) and although I write to hem to complain, there would be absolutely no reason to waste my time writing to them about this issue.

BTW, I did get the auto response. I used my own real email addy. I figured that way they wouldn'[t bother to check the name & addyI used. If the email was returned as undeliverable, it would negate the email I sent to him.
