1000th post: A huge thank you!
I joined DU right before the 2004 Election. I never thought I'd reach 1000 posts but I'm still standing!

What I'd like to say is thank you to all of the DUers who donate stars (largely anonymously) to people. You've bailed me out in times of crisis!

You all have been so generous, kind and patient with me and have helped me grow as a person. I never gave politics much thought, until it was smacking me in the face.

DU is an integral part of my day - I'm so glad you're here.
