6. LOL, any studies about women drinking coffee? I once was addicted,
now only have one cup a day, first thing in the morning to wake me up!

I never knew how much I missed that one cup until I ran out of coffee, tea is great but coffee in the morning for me is the best!

7. I know. I once worked at a diner and got addicted to coffee there. I've gone off coffee lately.

9. Actually my story is quite sad, I was not overweight but I just could not
have breakfast, so I drank coffee during the day and it felt good. Now I know, that was not good. Only until I got pregnant I changed the coffee to hot chocolate but still could not stomach breakfast. I am a really slow eater and have to be comfortable to eat, hence my skipping breakfast!

I have to sit and enjoy my meal, which I still cannot do when the whole office go out for a meal. So I just grab a few things I like and enjoy them, clean my plate but no room for deserts. Maybe I am weird!

We are all so different!

10. Me too... Cannot eat breakfast... If I'm having a big event to attend in the morning, I have found
a blender drink gets me through, but it's my coffee that staves off the morning breakfast thing for me.

11. It just shows how different we are. I respect each person's choice.
Even now, I do not have breakfast. Guess not being a morning person is the reason why. Do not let me tell you how my brothers were pissed off when I refused to make rotis for them in the mornings when my Mom was away! I armed myself with a box of biscuits, lots of bread, peanut butter, jam and cheese. The younger one was not impressed, so I told him, go make your rotis, I will enjoy my bread and jam!

Far cry from the shit we are dealing with now!

12. I am a coffee addict but GI problems in age have decreased and
moderated the wisdom of drinking coffee as a way of life.

I lived several blocks from Peet's in two different location privaby te appartments while an undergrad at Cal and from 1973 until late 90s drank Peet's coffee exclusively, either living in Berkeley or mail order from the Cedar Street store.

Now I must limit myself to a morning cup of dark roast arabica beans and drink yerba mate during the day. Yerba Mate is alkaline rather than acidic but a nutrient rich ancient new world stimulant.

8. OK, I'll drink more coffee. But I'm a bigger fan of the theory that frequent sex helps:
Frequent Sex May Reduce Prostate-Cancer Risk, Study Shows

Maybe I can work up to a gallon of coffee a day and use it as a talking point

She: What!? You're having another cup of coffee?
Me: Yeah, I'm scared shizzless I'll get prostate cancer, and the only other folk remedy I know is frequent sex
