Plan to Kill Gays Fails, for Now
http://www.politicsplus.org/blog/?p=4865

Republicans and very few Democrats involved in The Family and C-Street have been working overtime to implement a social engineering experiment in Uganda, perhaps as a trial for future use here, to apply the death penalty to gay people. I’ve posted several articles. Just search for Uganda here at PP. Because the Ugandan Parliament adjourned without voting on the measure, it has failed, for now. But the reprieve may be short lived.

Jay, a 27-year-old lesbian in Uganda, touches the scar tissue starting to form between her nose and lip. The tall, sturdily built woman was attacked last week outside her gate by two men she believes followed her home from a bar. They punched her repeatedly and when she tried to get away they said, “Come back; we’re not finished with you. You are spoiling our children!” she recalled.

3. Moderate Christian here (ELCA Lutheran). My church teaches
tolerance and ordains gay and lesbians pastors.

That being said, this plan to commit mass murder sickens me. This is pure evil.

2. Kansas just voted to keep gay as a criminal act, and look who is
Edited on Tue May-17-11 08:06 PM by RKP5637
governor of Kansas, Brownback, right from the The Family and C-Street. These people are very dangerous, very very dangerous. Wake up America. And they wonder why people are leaving Kansas ... Let's see, we have creationism, abortion murders, gays are criminals, a lot of stuff. No wonder there is an exodus from parts of the state, like 23 counties.

7. Not just Uganda.
Last week, clergymen and lawmakers gathered in NYC, NY, USA, to rally for the death of gays. Cheering for the ultimate genocide of a minority population is still considered "free speech," and draws the faithful in the thousands. No matter how unfounded, no matter what country, in the name of "morality."

Sometimes it feels like this planet is spinning backwards.

10. "religion is the basis for Uganda's ignorance." As it is in much of the world including
the US. I often think of religion as an infliction upon mankind, a plague.
