Michele Bachmann needs you to donate $50 to help her decide if she'll run for president

Rep. Michele Bachmann, R-Maple Street, keeps threatening to run for president. She is currently exploring the formation of an exploratory committee. Despite the fact that she has not yet made her decision, she is already fundraising, because she is only running for president to go on TV and raise money.

The founder of the House Tea Party Caucus sent an email to her supporter list asking them to take a poll about the 2012 race, but what she really wants is for them to vote with their wallets:

If you want me to continue fighting the big-government Obama agenda in the U.S. House of Representatives, please make a generous donation of $25. If you want me to seek the Presidency, please make a donation of $50 or even $100 to let me know I can count on you.

How much should one donate to help her decide to just go away forever, though? (I am guessing the answer is, "you couldn't afford it.") ............(more)

I don't know the joke that precedes it, but I've heard that punchline all my life and this seemed like a good place to use it.

16. I get her emails for some reason, and have not sent them to

spam yet so I know for a fact that every time she sends out an email, which seems to be at least twice a week, she asks for donation to 'fight' one thing or another. It's usually to 'help me fight the attacks on me from the left' or some variation on that theme.

So I came to the conclusion that this is a business for her. Like Palin and Gingrich she views running for office as a business and as long as there are fools out there who will keep sending her money, she will stay in business.

As far as her 'issues', I can't remember what she's fighting for other than whining about how Democrats are attacking her, poor little victim that she is. And I guess playing the victim is a good business, because she's been doing it for a long time now.
