5. There are about six of that one person in our family

We used to have ginormous Thanksgiving dinners at our house - 30 plus family members.

The two sons of my late sister and their offspring singlehandedly made those gatherings unbearable the year Obama got elected with a steady stream of n-word jokes.

The following year we had to tell one of them to either take his pistol off the dinner table or get the hell out. He left.

That whole arm of the family has been uninvited and we've cut back to a more manageable 12 or so.
