2. I predict that the current calendar system will be found out to be a sham.

And that the end of world is about consciousness and change and not death, so there is no end of the world.

Unless there is something to be said for that black hole swallowing the Earth soon.

3. Willing to put your money on it?
Sign over all of your possessions to me, effective Dec 13th, 2012. If you are right, you won't have any possessions on the 13th.

Then again, if you are wrong, you won't have any possessions on the 13th. Still think your theory is correct?

As your post lacks the sarcasm thingie, I can only think that some chemical is involved in the thinking process.

As I live in batshit crazy Georgia, we're actually seeing ads about *the rapture is happening in 5 days* on our local stations. I really wish they'd bring it -- just to take teh crazy out of the area....

32. I figure it has to do with the 'Pyramid Inch'.
I first heard that back when I first started hearing the 2012 stuff almost 20 years ago or so. The theory is that there is a timeline carved into some Egyptian pyramid that seems to mesh with history if you measure it at one inch = x number of years (sorry, it's been a while :) ). The thing is, the Pyramid Inch theory and the mural that inspires it...just stops out of nowhere, right around 2012.

I figure what REALLY happened was the guy chipping away at it broke his chisel, stepped outside for the foreman, and realized everyone else was gone. "Screw it," he said, and wandered off into the desert... :P

Maybe we're in the Steve Martin Joke about the world blowing up

"Does everyone here remember when the world blew up. Wow, that was something wasn't it? Moving to this new planet and all. I still think it was a good idea that they didn't tell all the crazy people because I don't think they could have han...dled...it. Ummmm... You all remember it? Right?"

Well if I am going to run the calc I might as well list the rest of US seismic wave predictions...

June 9th 2011

6 am Mt ST Helens will begin billowing massive amounts of steam and particulates.

8 am South West Arizona will experience a 5-7 miles deep 6.2 quake opening a visible rift or crack in the earth only around 2-6 feet wide one mile long that also will begin to billow steam.

10 am Yellowstone National Park will report their largest surface rise of two inches on the caldera in one day...

12 pm Ohio will experience a 3.6 quake in Southern Ohio

6pm two miles off the Coast of Maine there will occur a subduction layer causing a small tremor and visible whirlpool for a few hours.

Dec 18th 2011

Under sea Seismic disturbance 5.1 magnitude 8 miles off coast of Southern California causes a Rip tide current South to North with increased wave size of 12+ feet.

Dec 21st

Reading Pa. experiences first ever quake of 3.2 with minimal damage but fears that no other us sites seem to have been affected prior to quake.

Dec 21st

Assateague and Chincoteague Islands in the bay area are the site of seismic activity 2.4 magnitude shifting the two land masses within a few feet of each other. A land mass shift of 21 feet.

January 9th 2012

4.1 magnitude Northern California/Seattle Area quake no significant damage cool waves in the Sound.

February 10th 2012

Subsequent ejecta from the caldera will cause fires Nation Wide and Blacken the skies first rapidly increasing the worlds ambient temperature and then plunging us into the next ICE AGE...

Without Nuclear Power and the eventual spread of radioactive toxicity the planet would recover and humanity could survive for the mini 300-3000 year Ice Age but...

With the spread of Radioactive waste and eventual meltdown of nuclear power plants the planet will be devoid of virtually all life within 300 years and will stay highly radioactive for 300,000 years...maybe by then the roaches will have hands and brains that can reason...and then they can play with space travel...
