NBC announces Celebrity Apprentice goes on with or without The Donald
The show must go on.

"The Apprentice," a show based on getting a sought-after position with Donald Trump, won't end if the businessman decides to run for President, NBC announced Sunday.

The network's midseason schedule will include the hit show on Sunday nights with or without the Donald, executives said.

"It's such a strong franchise, not to minimize his presence in it because we love him, but I really do think it's all about the casting of that show and the challenges," NBC's chairman of entertainment, Bob Greenblatt, told The Hollywood Reporter.

1. They're crazy
It's all about an idiot getting even bigger idiots to do idiotic things in front of a camera, to please the head idiot. It will be tough to find someone as idiotic as the Donald.

Now, maybe if they replaced Trump with Charlie Sheen...

5. Are you joking? There are people here worried about what is on TeeVees in businesses.

Are you suggesting DU'ers who watch television---OMG, not TELEVISION!---are illiterate thugs?

I watch "da TeeVee" probably an inordinate amount of time. Guess what? I'm also extremely well-read, taught British lit, have thousands of books, and been on "Jeopardy". oh, wait; THAT'S ON DA TEE-VEE.

8. Well, that does it. He definitely won't be running because his
ego couldn't stand it if someone else stepped in and did a better job than he did.

10. Sounds like Trump is about to hear...You're Fired
Trump is playing the running for president card to squeeze more cash out of NBC and NBC just called him on it.
