Not a word about snow in the entire article.

6-10 inches of snow to fall by morning in Metro Detroit
Francis X. Donnelly / / The Detroit News

The beginning of the week in Metro Detroit will feel more like London, England than London, Ontario.

After a cold, wet Sunday, the weather will remain cool until Wednesday, according to the National Weather Service.

The rain is more stubborn than that, expected to malinger until Friday.

1. You got us beat. People in Central New York (Syracuse & Oswego)
are still complaining about the dusting we got on Mother's Day a few years back.

Are the leaves open on the trees? Wet snow can take down a lot of branches. Be prepared for power outages.

2. Malinger????
Do they mean the rain is going to "feign illness or other incapacity in order to avoid duty or work"?

By the way when I clicked on the link the misleading headline had been disappeared.

9. Malinger? We in and around Detroit do not call in sick when it rains.

We call in sick on nice days, when the parks and lakes and golf courses beckon.

Damn, I may have to work all week.

3. Well I guess it's strange for many folks...
But i am at 6200' and we always get snow in May... and our leaves are barely out...

:( got a couple inches last night and more expected thru Wed...
We are hosting the beginning of the AMGEN Tour Bike race (all the big tour de france people)
this weekend is the big kick off... ooops!
It's gonna be snowing on & off all day and it's like 27 out
those poor bikers! ...and what really sucks is that our tourism agencies KNOW that we don;t have solid good weather till after June
so much for our big economy boost...

15. Yeah, now "Rain to drench Metro Detroit all week long", though the URL shows it was earlier about
snow. Says "Last Updated: May 15. 2011 1:27PM" - 15 minutes after the time in the OP; someone must have noticed.

17. Ugly week in the Toronto area too...
Opening day for my son's Mosquito baseball was rained out yesterday, practice rained out today, and not looking good for game #2 on Wednesday either.

Guess that's why the Jays built a dome.
