2. Hmm. Noticed George Soros is on this list.
2nd highest in fact at 3.3 billion.

Not bad work I guess if you can get it.

4. Oh but think of all the jobs he and his multibillionaire cohorts are providing.
Isn't that the GOP talking point about that?

Guess it only applies to repuke billionaires, huh?

8. Yea, right?! - why that talking point never works...
Edited on Sat May-14-11 06:50 PM by Zax2me
It doesn't mean anything.
He/they still earns 3.3 billion, we are all out here stressing over 4+ dollar gas and making mortgage payments.
Obvious point I guess - do not go to GOP talking points for anything if you want a fix - to anything.

11. Was George Soros the only person of note on the list?
Just wondering why you chose him out of the growing hordes of multi billionaires ....?

18. With me?! Um, I can read?
The NY Times article I posted made a point to mention him.
http://www.nytimes.com/2010/04/01/business/01hedge.html
The runner-up in the ranking was George Soros, the Hungarian émigré who has become better known in recent years for supporting Democratic candidates and making political headlines than for picking stocks. His fund, Quantum Endowment, grew 29 percent in 2009, earning Mr. Soros $3.3 billion in fees and investment gains.

Wonder what's with them?

20. I want to know why *you* are so concerned about Mr Sorros.
It seems so odd, given the content of the OP. You just seem so..... concerned..... about Mr Sorros.

9. One problem with the picture is that people do not pay tax on their gross salary.
The income tax applies after deductions which generally cut most gross income in half. If you are in the 40K to 50k income you will not pay more than about 10%. That is why some families don't pay any income tax at all.

you can right click on it and scroll down to "view info". It should tell you. But not always.
