Just received a solicitation call from Obama for America.

They've wised up because the number displayed on the caller id was local. Anyway, the guy gave me his spiel and asked if I would be willing to donate $150. I responded that I am one of the far left liberals that Rahm called a "fucking retard" so I would have to think about donating at this time. The guy then goes on to ask if I would give $100. I responded by saying "did you hear me? I was called a fucking retard by the President's chief of staff". He says he says he understands and then goes on to ask me if I would be willing to volunteer for the campaign. My reply: "Have you not listened to one word I have said?".

Make no mistake, I will vote for President Obama for re-election. What I may chose not to do is donate or volunteer. Of course living here in Alabama, volunteering would garner him nothing.

I get a call from OFA about once every 6 months or so, all they ask is if I would like to volunteer time.
They have never ever mentioned donating money during the calls.
