Anyone else feel that wave of rage over them when listening to Repubs?
I'm talking about that very real, physical response that makes you feel a little like you're about to pass out for a second?

Anyone else affected by those fucking scumbags as much as me?

Because I'm starting to feel I'm a little abnormal in that sense.

I just can't take their incessantly dishonest, intellectually vapid, poor-people-hating, Bible-thumping fucking bullshit anymore.

3. Yes. And not just when they speak but...
When an interviewer or media outlet lets them spew off lies without debunking them. They just give them a platform to lie and distort without any fact checking. I'm having a physical response just thinking about it.

I feel sick and powerless. I live in Florida and every day there's a new obscenity being committed or proposed. Mostly I feel enraged.

It's horrifying. I haven't listened much at all since 2008, but less and less as I'm kind of vulnerable lately.

don't listen to them any more.

Because after a while, that flaming rage drains me to the point of debilitation. I get so physically tired. Not sleepy. Exhausted to the point I can't rest.

A mindless game of Zuma or Super Collapse helps some..............

But not listening to them is better. (And that is just for the Dems. Listening to the Repubs would proably kill me.

Both extremes scare me.

I wouldn't say I feel rage, more incredulous at how unrealistic people can be.

41. But the extreme right does have power in the USA.
When you balance extreme right with centrism you end up on the right end of the scale, not the left.

And then since what was right has now become center, the right take off even further to the right, the "split-the-difference" crowd will then move further to the right and the process continues apace.

Either disempower the right, which isn't going to happen, or you have to empower the left in equal measure if you wish to remain anywhere near the center and not constantly dragged to the right.

It's puzzling to me why some people find this hard to understand.

But Yeah, it can get very intense and painful. Like a very tight knot in the pit of your stomach all the time.

Best thing to do is take a break and center yourself in some way. This too shall pass.

I think of them as domestic enemies much the same as dictatorial despots wanna be. It pays to remain rational in the presence of the irrational that as my Republican brother in law found out has its limits when I and my family are pushed and threatened!

I don't waste any more time listening to talking points and defense of proven conservative failures. If I encounter them after telling them to "hold that thought" I tell them it again and walk away. It has worked very well at family gatherings and parties.

The only thing more infuriating than their blatant and despicable lies, is to her said lies parroted by the hordes of idiot followers.

27. Rage would boil up in me whenever I saw or heard GW Bush when he was president.
The fact that a WAR CRIMINAL who misled us into a war BASED ON LIES was still the POTUS instead of behind bars was just too much for me.

Today's Repukes induce disgust and derision, but my reaction isn't quite as visceral.

31. I can't
I can't do it without screaming obscenities. Seriously... Sometimes on NPR I'll hear a clip of some rediculous thing one of those assclowns had to say, and I just can't control myself from screaming obsceneties at them. It is a good thing I'm not elected to congress, because I really couldn't sit quietly and let them speak their nonsense on the floor without calling them on it. And I'm not talking like that "You lie!" comment that moron made during Obama's state of the union speech... No I'm talking like a straight up verbal thrashing that would make children's ears bleed. I have zero tolerance for it anymore.

some of my family members who use to say I need to cool down now to a certain extent can see why I can't control myself.

After I have just told myself I won't curse then another one shows up with some more nonsense and they are called every name in the book.

what they say and do never changes.

Rule #1: Never trust a republican. Never.

Rule #2: Everything republicans say and do is geared toward ending democracy, instituting complete privatization of government, and establishing a plutarchy.

Rule #3: (see rule #1)
