I'm torn between 2 ideas....
speaking politically, for 30 or so years, the Republicans (maybe just the hard-core Cons. in that party) have known, KNOWN, on some level, that the Kool-Aid had hemlock in it. They're pissed NOW because it doesn't taste like grapes anymore, and people are disappearing from the house party, so to speak.

Do we:

A- greet them in the street with with a whole metric ton of Progressive economic populism and good natured education as to the INSANITY of grape-flavored HEMLOCK... or

B- watch them all fall over as the poison kicks in?

POLITICALLY, I'm inclined to the latter, Morally, not so much, as I believe sick people need Health Care, too...

Thoughts?

1. Attempt "A;" if unsuccessful, enjoy "B."

2. hahahahha I guess that IS probably the best answer,
at least in a Shakespearian, Greek Tragedy, dark humor kind way...and now you've got me thinking that THAT answer is what Election Night will feel like next time around =)

3. Well, let's face it
if choice "A" actually brings positive, fundamental change, then it's a good thing.

Given the past history of such attempts choice "B" is more likely and pure enjoyment is justified.

I can hear the Greek Chorus tuning up on the sidelines. :D
