Indiana passes legislation to cut Planned Parenthood, your thoughts?

I'm just gonna take a stab and say... the Republicans are pressing this sort of legislation all over the nation... and they're going to PAY for it in 2012. An angry populous can only be pushed so far by wildly unpopular legislation before they turn and rip the politicians to pieces.

Also... so much for jobs jobs jobs... where are the jobs bills, republicans?

Judge to rule Wednesday on Planned Parenthood cuts

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) - Planned Parenthood says it will continue seeing patients with appointments as the group awaits a federal ruling on its request to block Indiana's effort to become the first state to cut all funding to the organization.

U.S. District Judge Tanya Walton Pratt is expected to rule Wednesday on the organization's request for a temporary restraining order. Planned Parenthood filed the request Tuesday after Gov. Mitch Daniels signed into law a bill that imposes new restrictions on abortions and cuts funding to the organization.

Planned Parenthood of Indiana President Betty Cockrum says the group will use its Women's Health Fund to cover the cost of seeing patients who rely on federal funding until the judge rules.

She says the law could leave thousands of patients without access to vital health care.

And Daniels thinks he's gonna stand a fucking chance at a Presidential bid after this shit? No wonder he's starting to back off that idea. Fucking asshole.

7. while this is dispicable, it has a silver lining

with the tea party dividing the votes of the republican party, the democratic party has never been in a stronger position to take seats in the state houses and congresses. We'll get these bills repealed, mark my words!
