Poll question: Elements of the Pakistan intelligence/military actively shielded OBL for years. Agree/disagree
Simple enough when it comes to Pakistan's intelligence/military community. That's what this meaningless DU poll is about.

1. I disagree.
In many places in the world, (like Venice California) the rich will live geographically where poor people do, but not without 12 foot fences with barbed wire on top.

This is a hallmark of the average third world nation.

2. Of course "elements of" is pretty analogous to "some people"
But yeah, some people in high places knew he was there. Had to.

Just my opinion, of course, but .

4. Some more than others
And some less than others. Some for longer times, some for shorter times. But then again, somebody might know something about anything. Jus' sayin'

8. LOL, yep - that's how I'd characterize the findings of this poll.

3. Imho, this is a complicated situation.
It may be that someone in the Pak government has always known where he was. But, when you think about it, some us have always known or believed he was in Pakistan, too. That's where Mullah Omar went when he was turned out of Kandahar and he was traveling with OBL.

It's very difficult to tell what Pakistan knew or didn't know and how far that diverged from what we knew or didn't know.

6. Further complicated when evaluating OUR INCREASINGLY PRIVATIZED
US INTELLIGENCE COMMUNITY-the same one that BUSH/CHENEY CRIMINALS paradoxically blamed for 9-11 by lying about an "intelligence failure" when there really wasn't one at all--and that has been verified for years from open sources and the truth from whistleblowers.

This poll is a real no-brainer!

7. Someone knew he was there.
Whether or not that knowledge was widely known is questionable, but not out of the realm of possibility.
