3. Wow - so what happens in a recount with such unsecured ballot bags?
I'm appalled ....and I am EQUALLY appalled b/c I don't KNOW how such a situation is handled.

Do those votes in the bag get counted? Or are all votes in the bag DISCOUNTED?

Geeezzzz.....

5. Color me unsurprised. I didn't expect it to be as blue as Dane
county but I thought Kloppenberg would have a stronger showing there. Unless a lot of ballots got disqualified (legitimately or otherwise), something's fishy.

I am doing a fitness bootcamp, working full time and have been at recount as much as possible every day. I did a 5k for breast cancer with my parents this morning. I'll catch up on Monday. :)

4. Brookfield of Waukesha was essentially done today
Lots of minor issues. The best references are the comment section of BradBlog and Dkos.

huge problems with the email votes. They were a mess! Plus for some reason a majority of the spoiled votes are for kloppenburg. Go figure. The official kloppenburg rep there has documented more than 200 irregularities. I sincerely hope something more than election reform occurs bc of this!

8. Things will pick up quickly next week
They're moving us to the cafeteria (we've been in a small room) and bringing in more tabulators. They will be doing more than one reporting unit at a time. We desperately need more observers (and tabulators) so if you know anyone in the area, please spread the word.
