More 'isolated incidents': Wave of racist-right crimes hits Spokane area -- but it's not alone

Last weekend, my old friend Bill Morlin wrote a major Sunday piece for the Spokane Spokesman-Review

describing how the old scourge of white-supremacist hatred and the violence that always accompanies it has been on the rise again:

There’s also been a spike in racist activity and hate crimes in Spokane and other Pacific Northwest communities – indeed, almost everywhere in the United States.

Sure enough, in the week that followed, there were three major stories involving white-supremacist violence in the Inland Empire.

First came the arrest of a Pullman white supremacist who apparently was leading hate-crime attacks on taco-truck drivers

2. Divide and conquer - the rich sociopaths are laughing all the way to the bank

Their plan is to keep us fighting amongst ourselves for the crumbs that fall off their sumptuous banquet feast table. Mission accomplished.

The wealthy know that if we all stood together for once their opulent lifestyle, paid for by our sweat, blood, tears and death, would be over.

Solidarity -- Not Hate! We all have one common enemy: the wealthy thieves and con men.
