How is it that we are supposed to be weak on security and national defense issues again?

Have the Rethugs done anything close to this?

5. Exactly! They took down people that were propped up by past
Republican administrations. They haven't taken down anyone they didn't create.

2. Hey, now! Let's not forget...
that St. Ronnie took out Grenada's Maurice Bishop & Boosh I captured Panama's Manuel Noriega - both of whom were veritable scourges of mankind, yunno.

In the highly likely event that it's necessary: :sarcasm:

7. I think the use of St. Ronnie and Boosh made the sarcasm evident
Although sometimes, you never know. People can be too literal.

9. Experience has taught me
to *NEVER* assume that everyone will recognize satire or sarcasm. I think the written word is especially vulernable to misinterpretation - devoid of visual or audible clues as it is.

6. I think the title of my OP could make an effective bumper sticker
And yes, they crow loudly over minuscule accomplishments while we are gracious in our victories.

10. I wonder how one would go about getting bumper stickers made and distributed, because your OP really

is a great one. Says what needs to be said!

Forgot to kick and recommend. Now done.

11. I know you can buy "Bumper Sticker" pages for your home printer
There must be some kind of template for designing and printing them.

Heck, for any creative and enterprising DUers out there...I officially enter that phrase or any variation of it into the public domain to be used as desired.

12. It was all part of destroying Liberalism campaign by the RW.
By repeating over and over Republicans are stronger
on Defense and Liberals are weak on Defense, the GOP
established this as truth. Just as Democrats did not
defend Liberalism or Democratic Principles, the Republicans
sold the mush --only Republicans are strong on defense.

14. Well, it was the Russians who took down Hitler.
FDR and Churchill contributed greatly with general Nazi pummeling from the other direction, but it was the Commies who did the deed.

15. New Rule: If you can't spell Milosevic, you also shouldn't defame him.
