poorness forbade the purchase of meat and so I told the kids we were going vegetarian. alas and alack, we survived! and the food was awesome.

11. I know, my foodstamps would not go very far there.
I was referring to people who shop at Whole Foods becoming poor.

I know some folks who are reaching the edge now due to food prices and only going there for organic meats or special items when they used to shop for everything there.
