Does MSNBC do programming anymore or is it just commercials. No wonder
Lawrence O'Donnell gets lower ratings, it's getting like nonstop commercials. No wonder I don't watch much traditional TV anymore. It's crap.

2. Actually Larence's show is good tonight. He made a vlid point when
he referenced Jon Stewart "we don't SEE enough pictures of REAL WAR aand it's results". they're right! That's the main reason more people aren't screaming for the US to CoME HOME! As LD said..."It's like a video game where the bodies just disappear and are replaced by a gold coin".

I'm waiting to hear the rest of his inteview with Condie Rice. The clip sunded like she was pissed!

9. Yep, I heard Condie Rice and Rachel's follow up, it was all excellent, it was
pretty clear Lawrence O'Donnell hit a few touchy areas with Condie Rice.

8. I've heard that at least with the networks the more viewers that leave the
more they increase the commercials to make up the gap. I'm certainly no expert, but just repeating what I've heard. I've also heard traditional TV is getting less viewed which leads me to believe cable news might be increasing commercials too.

I know a lot of people that don't even bother with cable broadcasting anymore as they've gotten fed up with all of the commercials. I certainly understand commercials are needed to fund programming, but often I feel like after having seen the same commercial a zillion times that we're getting a few too many. Anyway, that's my 2 cents.

6. I watch Rachel Maddow
over the internet in part because I don't own a TV, and even if I did I'm at work when her show is on. I get maybe four minutes of commercials watching that way.

In fact, when I stay at a motel, or if I'm at someone's house and they have TV on, I'm totally amazed at the amount of commercials on TV. I no longer have any patience for them.

7. I understand commercials, but it seems over the past few years to have
really gone overboard. I've lost patience too, I just turn the TV off anymore. Often I just scan the internet for news and DU.

10. It is crap. I often watch online instead.
The commercials drive me nuts as well. I have an alternate channel set to try to watch something else during the break--which doesn't work if the commercials are too well timed. I'm so glad I took up knitting again, otherwise I'd never be able to sit through TV shows anymore.
