Wisconsin Anomaly Bags Up to Eight Bags
Edited on Tue May-03-11 12:41 PM by jsamuel
http://www.dailykos.com/story/2011/05/03/972659/-More-Baggage-Handling-Errors-in-Waukesha-County

Three bags of ballots from a precinct in Oconomowoc (oh-CON-eh-meh-walk) have been identified as having no serial number on their bag labels.

There are three places where the numbers should be matched. Each bag is sealed with a tamper-evident tag or seal. That tag has a serial number on it. Elections officials are supposed to write that serial number on the bag label when they seal it, sign the bag, and also log the serial number on the official election inspection report.

These 3 along with the other 5 make 8 in Waukesha County.

Totals:
Wednesday: 1 in Brookfield
Thurdsay: 1 in Delafield
Friday: 1 in Delafield
Saturday: 1 in Chenequa
Monday: 1 in Genesee
Tuesday: 3 in Oconomowoc

Update:
Current estimates suggest that each bag has around 350 ballots (plus or minus 100). Only a couple been confirmed by PeaceNikki. If these estimates hold, it would take about 40 of such bags in Waukesha County to add up to 14,000 votes (the number added two days after the election). There are still far more precincts to be counted than have been counted. If the pattern continues at the same rate, there will be well more than 40 bags at the end of the recount.

3. WTF???? How long is this going to be going on?
I swear, we need Jimmy Carter and the UN to moniter the elections in Waukesha County.

investigate this...I could see a few mistakes - but 8? Remember each step takes one person to do the step and then another to check it, so how could there be so many incompetant people in WI? Something tells me there were bag switches going on.

Maybe with tag #'s being given over the phone or something (that would account for 1 or 2 wrong #'s in the series of #'s on the tags)...

7. That's a problem
Matching serial numbers assure the integrity of those bags. When they don't match, you have no way of knowing if the bags are compromised.

You have no way of knowing the sequence of events if the original seals were broken, the bag tampered with, or not & subsequently resealed with another numbered lock.
