1. Disgusting
On what basis does this person slander filmmakers? Oh, they made anti war films. The idea that the director of the Hurt Locker would want to make a 'hunt bin laden' movie is just stupid, to put it bluntly. Bigoted and insulting comments. The writers made up opinions, based not on knowledge but on a need to post rhetoric for pay. For a check, he takes people who made anti war films, mocks the low profit and then says the same people are excited to make jingo films? Tripe, and right close to personal slander of Bigelow.
This is just bullshit. Not bothering to read the rest of it.

4. IMO the criticism is directed at big studios and US "Rambo culture",
not the anti-war filmmakers.

5. "Hurt Locker team plans film on bin Laden hunt"
http://www.newsday.co.zw/article/2011-05-03-hurt-locker-team-plans-film-on-bin-laden-hunt

"The filmmakers behind the war-on-terror drama The Hurt Locker are moving forward with an action thriller about the hunt for Osama bin Laden.

Director Kathryn Bigelow and screenwriter Mark Boal have had the bin Laden project in the works, and now that the al-Qaeda leader has been killed, a person close to the filmmakers said Monday that the film is more relevant than ever."
