3. Heck yes! Have some fun! Be warned though, Calvados will knock you out...
...There are some really nice restaraunts in Honfleur a few miles from the Normandy beaches...wonderful fresh seafood...right on the harbour-front...

9. I was in Paris for 8 days just a few weeks ago...it seemed pretty secure
judging by the security I went thru in the museums. I did see some soldiers in cammo with seriously big guns walking around the Eiffel Tower. My guess is that they do what NYC does by stationing a military "presence" around the various landmarks (because they are preferred targets by terrorists) and changing them daily.

I WILL bet that airport security will be super tough. Which would be fine by me...
