2. That would be legendary. Obama SHOULD address the crowd. This is
a major night in US history and shoudl be celebrated. He should come out, unscripted, and thank everyone and say some words. This is the kind of moment that inspires historical type quotes, rather than speech bullet points and cliches.

3. It's only a major night if it means the death of the War on Terror. nt

7. What makes you think this doesn't mean the death of the War on Terror?
It's certainly a step in the right direction.

8. Some are saying the war will escalate, some are saying it will end.
I don't know enough to make a call either way. I'm hoping it means the end. I'm hoping some of the war money can go to restoring American jobs.

4. He's probably trying to get the girls to sleep. It's after midnite.
School day tomorrow, but I understand the sentiment.

He'll tell them the good news in the morning. They're sleeping just fine.

9. Not so sure. Chuck Todd just said he's in a supposedly soundproof room,
and he can still hear the cheers. Let's hope they won't be too groggy in the a.m.

10. Can't believe you're so worried about this. It's one day....they'll be fine.
My dad use to let me skip school sometimes to take me to the baseball game...this is an important day in American history and for their dad. I'm sure the whole family will be celebrating for many days/years. Let them celebrate together.
