September 11th, 2001
I was 3 days outside a port visit to Singapore, when word came that America had been attacked. My ship participated in the immediate retaliation, and I have spent the last 10 years waiting for the day that we finally got Bin Laden. Tonight is closure for me. I lift my glass to all of my military brethren, and especially to President Obama! After 10 long years, I think I will finally sleep in peace.

Behind the United States, Great Britain, and India, Canada had the next highest number of deaths on 9/11 with 24.
