Fizzgig was given a star, from some kind and caring person, for her birthday in May. If I understand correctly, she would have until May, 2011 to renew the star, correct? My question is, I just donated for her again as a Channukah present. Does this donation kick in AFTER her May donation ends, giving her yet another year, or are the donations in tandem?

Thanks for all everyone of you do. I have been here since (almost the)inception. DU has been a safe haven for many a year, nastiness and all.

A donor star lasts for one year from the date of the most recent donation. So fizzgig's star will last until next November, assuming she or someone else doesn't purchase a new one before then.
