Polls in DU3

Will polls in DU3 function the same way they do now? Specifically, will poll results be secret and no response is required to vote.

As of writing this, 5 people have voted "yes" but none have explained their rationale. The "no" crowd seems to be pretty well represented in the comments (though not all have commented). Will DU3 have a feature requiring people to comment if they vote in a poll. It would certainly make for more involved discussions if people can't simply vote without discussion.

1. Pretty much everything on DU3

is being reworked from the ground up. We haven't started working on polls yet but transparency is one the main principles behind the design of DU3, so making poll results public is certainly something we have considered.

2. Have you considered making "allow anonymous responses" an option for the person setting up the poll?

If someone is ok with anonymous responses, they could select it.

But at this point our inclination for DU3 is to make everything as transparent as possible.
