I discovered that if a thread has a positive number of recommendations and I "unrecommend" it, the net number of recommendations will decrease by one, as it should, but at the bottom of the original post I'll read "(Your vote: +1)."
For example, if a post has 10 recommendations and I click "Unrecommend", I'll get a page that says "Net recommendation: +9 votes (Your vote: -1)", which is correct. But then, when I return to the original post, I'll see "Net recommendation: +9 votes (Your vote: +1)", which is incorrect.
It wasn't easy to find recommended posts that I was willing to unrecommend as a test, but I found some in the Guns forum and carefully made sure that the bug really existed before I reported it.
