I would, yet again, like an explanation of why this apparently isn't a call out

http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=433x801446#801938

and the thread linked below is.

This happens over and over and I would like to know why if I post something about what a group of DUers say in that forum it is a call out but if pro Obama posters post about what (usually) gay posters have said it isn't. Either both of these posts are call outs or neither is.

1. I'm just going to refer you back to an answer Skinner gave to you a few days ago
Here's the relevant part of the answer:

"I get it: you disagree with the call the moderators made on that one. You know what? That's gonna happen sometimes. It even happens to me. I think it might be time to move on. There are 50 million+ posts on this site, deciding where to draw the line is not an exact science. It would be impossible to be completely consistent if only one person were making the decision on every post, but there are so many differing factors, from the tone and substance of the post itself, to the content of the alerts, to who happens to moderating that day, to how busy we are. You name it. We try the best we can, and I'm sorry to say that is the best anyone here is going to get as long as we are on DU2."

2. there is a clear, consistent pattern in that forum
time after time, gay posters get called out, like clarkUSA did there and time after time we are told that is not a call out, though we are given no reason whatsoever why that is the case. Then if a gay poster posts a substantially similar thread in that forum we get locked for calling out. I can see no difference of any kind in my thread and Clark's post. I would like some reasonable rule that is being applied. Either call all posts where groups of DUers are called out, call outs or call none of them call outs. Right now you have one group of posters (gay critics of Obama) being treated one way and another group (Obama supporters) treated a different, better way. Now if there is some real difference in these posts, then please, by all means point it out, but failing that, why shouldn't I think there is a total double standard here.
