Organized Stalking Not Being Discussed on Democratic Underground
To: Ask the Administrators.

Why is it that when the words "Organized Stalking" are typed into the DU Search bar, the most recent post is a post by shance titled "The New Cointelpro--Organized and/or Gang Stalking",from may of 2007?

Nothing on the subject of organized stalking in over four years?

This type of stalking involves hundreds of thousands of victims (DOJ's own stats)
who are totally ignored by the media, the police, and the U.S. Justice Department...
Why is Democratic Underground also ignoring them?

The Office for Victims of Crime "does not provide any direct assistance to stalking victims in multi-stalker cases". (OVC is part of DOJ)

If COINTELPRO, (which was determined to be illegal by Congress 35 years ago) IS still very much "alive", operating under a different code name, (as former FBI agents have stated), Why isn't Democratic Underground "discussing" it?

1. I'm going to guess that the reason the last thread on "organized stalking" was posted in 2007
is because nobody has started any threads on the subject since then.

2. Organized stalking and COINTELPRO (New Thread)
The methods used by those criminals who engage in organized stalking closely match the methods used decades ago by the FBI in the COINTELPRO program.
"Well-orchestrated accusations, lies, rumors, bogus investigations, set-ups, framings, intimidation, overt or covert threats, vandalism, thefts, sabotage, torture, humiliation, emotional terror and general harassment"
http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term-organized%20stalking/

"COINTELPRO, that shocked the nation after the Church Committee investigations, never ended", according to former FBI agent M. Wesley Swearingen.
"The new COINTELPRO operates globally under a different code name, more sophisticated, with access to modern weapons"
http://www.examiner.com/human-rights-in-national/let-s-kill-all-the-good-guys/

Former FBI agent Bob Levin agrees.
Levin, "a validated FBI whistle-blower and blacklisted journalist" will be publishing The Blackfile Summary Report later this year.
"The Report will include the personal story of becoming a 'targeted individual'(TI),
subjected to the political retribution of on-going illegal COINTELPRO operations".
http://www.boblevin.org/

"COINTELPRO began in the 1950s and was a program to disrupt communism--however, the program has continued and may have changed names many times"

In 2009, the United States Department of Justice issued a Special Report "Stalking Victimization in the United States"(Pub # NCJ 224527)
In this 2009 survey, DOJ estimated the number of stalking victims who reported multiple stalkers during the 12 month study period to be in excess of 180,000.

Freedom Of Information Act documents prove that DOJ deliberately UNDER-estimated the
number of stalking victims reporting multiple stalkers during the 12 month study period. The actual number of victims reporting multiple stalkers during the 12 month study period is probably between 500,000 and 600,000.

Why would the Justice Department do such a thing?

Why would DOJ not want the American people to know the true extent of this type of stalking?

Could the Justice Department itself somehow be involved in organized stalking?

That might explain why DOJ has NEVER prosecuted a multiple stalker case!

That might also explain why letters, phone calls and e-mails to DOJ on this subject go unanswered.

That might also explain why DOJ's Office for Victim's Services (OVS) "does not provide any direct assistance to victims of multi-stalker incidents"

Meanwhile, the criminals who engage in organized stalking do so with impunity, knowing that neither local nor federal law-enforcement will do anything to stop them.

What is needed is a Congressional Investigation into these and other intelligence matters.

Congressman Rush Holt (D-NJ)has called for just such a Congressional Investigation.

"I'd like to see something on the scope of the Church Committee", Holt said.

The Congressman said that "it has been a few decades since Congress took a comprehensive inquiry into the intelligence community's impact on the relationship between the individual and his or her government"
