This is ridiculous.

I get THIS post deleted (#16): http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=439x1614515#1614646

I didn't call anyone out! I didn't insult anyone on the board! I simply stated my opinion that Obama is going to sell us out. The mods are being trigger happy against anti-Obama posters. 1 in 2 of my posts gets deleted now daily and in this case it's absolute BS.

The mod in question deserves to have their ability to moderate questioned.

I've been here since 2002 but it's become impossible to post here thanks to the Pro-Obama mods who will accept him and his Republican policies/tactics over that of Democratic policies and platform.

1. I'll refer you to an answer Skinner gave to a similar question earlier

2. Except that you can make a strong case that I wasn't wrong in my post.
Obama DID sell us out. Mods are protecting Obama to DU's peril. It's not a stretch to say he doesn't support Democratic Ideals or Principles and that is what DU should be defending, not a person with a D next to their name. Unless this site supports Zell Miller and Joe Liebermen post-heel style turns on the rest of the party, we should never be a site that promotes party over principle. That's what the DNC, DSCC and DCCC sites are for.

3. It's not necessary to call him a "fucking coward."
Criticize all you want. But leave out the crude, unnecessary insults.

4. So if he shows cowardice in backing down during negotiations... we're not allowed to call that out?
He is/was a coward. Every single time he negotiates with Republicans he immediately gives them everything they want and then continues in that direction because he doesn't have the spine to stand up for anything. I don't see how that's an unnecessary insult when it's the truth and something that has occurred every time we've had these battles (HCR, Bush Tax Cuts and now the Debt Ceiling).

Sounds to me like people are a bit over-sensitive over hurting the feelings of someone who has attacked his base repeatedly and allowed his Chief of Staff to refer to us as "fucking retards".

5. See? You posted that entire message, and made your point, without calling Obama a crude name.
What we are asking is not that hard.

And the bonus is that people are more likely to listen to what you are saying.
