Why do you continue to tell DUers that long-time members are only banned after mod consensus

In two separate threads in GLBT Forum, Skinner has acknowledged that many GLBT posters were banned unilaterally by himself, without discussion with the mods. That acknowledgement was a long time in coming, but it confirmed something that many of us had suspected. At least we had the truth at last.

Now we're back to the old story that long-time DUers are never banned except after careful consideration and moderator consensus. Why?

Members get banned by moderator consensus. Or they can be banned unilaterally by an Administrator.
