In the last few days I have had 4 of these download.. what is going on?

something has downloaded on my harddrive from this board.. I am not opening it up. I do not know what the heck they are

1. You know, this happens to me sometimes

And not just on DU. I don't think it's anything insidious. It seems that sometimes my browser just "hiccups" and tries to download a file that it's supposed to be handling in some other way. I don't think you have anything to worry about but I'll forward this to Elad to see if he has any comments. If your browser saved those PHP files on your hard drive, you can just delete them.

I now have 5 of them sitting in my documents folder.. I just never had it happen before or anyplace else.. :hi:

3. EarlG is right, it's a hiccup, but likely caused by our servers resetting

rather than your browser, though either is possible I suppose. Our web servers reset themselves every 30 minutes, and if you attempt to load a forum page that isn't fully-formed in the instant it's resetting, you could get that message. It's harmless.
