My sincerest apologies if this question has been asked interminably, but is there a way to be notified by email when someone replies or posts in a topic I've been in?

1. Currently no.
When we move into our new software, it will be much easier to find out when someone has replied to one of your posts. We may (eventually) program the functionality you are asking for.
