I went out of my way not to mention "progressive" "liberal" "Democrats" or "the left." I used the phrase "either side" are we not allowed to discuss any criticism of the president from other Democrats?

Also, the one example I gave was of Paul Ryan. It just seems that this is overkill.

Is it possible to unlock this?

1. I appreciate your frustration but

I think the moderators made the correct call in this case, under the rules as they are currently written. If you're saying "critics from either side" then you're referring to DUers as well as the RW.

FWIW, we've mentioned a number of times recently that we're planning some changes alongside the upcoming switch to the new software. I won't go into details now but I'll say that this kind of thing is something that would probably be handled differently on DU3.

. . .my frustration is born from the feeling that those who dish it out can't take it. I know that the moderators have their hands full and I am struggling to find the proper wording to address Obama's critics from the left because I do feel it is a problem. I used "either side" because it was as vague as I could get;) Any guidance you guys can provide on how to address this topic is greatly appreciated.
