I posted the following in a thread.

Let us remind ourselves why Mr. Greenwald is in Brazil, since you chose to use it in a cheap shot. He is in Brazil because despite the fact he is married he can't bring his husband back to this country because we are treated like third rate faggots. I know for a fact the person I wrote the post too didn't alert, he pmed me unsolicited to tell me he didn't alert. The poster himself said it was a cheap shot.

I certainly am aware that your intent was to use the term in a good-faith way. But whenever things like that get posted, the moderators are kind of stuck between a rock and a hard place. Whatever they do will piss someone off.
