After re-reading the posting rules (I know them, I simply goofed), I understand that I started a thread in GD when I should have posted it in the Lounge (where it would have been more likely to have garnered discussion). In GD, it's simply in the wrong place.

I've passed the time limit to delete or edit, and even so I wouldn't want to disrespect my single responder by doing so.

Is it possible to "move" a post or should I just apologize and see if you as admins delete the post because - it IS in the wrong spot.

Thank you for ALL your time and everything you do, not just in this case but for DU as a whole.

1. We are able to move posts.

If you alert and ask the mods, they will sometimes move threads for members.

The other option is to alert and ask them to delete. Then you can go re-post in the Lounge.
