I'd like to propose a one day moratorium

Another day has gone by that I have had to sit through post after post bashing the president, his motives, his love of country and encouraging primary challengers. It is getting to the point where there are so many such posts that trying to ignore them is like swatting at flies.

I'd like to propose a Moratorium Day at DU. This is how it would work. On a date chosen by the Administrators, only positive and encouraging posts about the president and the Democratic Party would be allowed. Only positive news, only positive polls and only positive outlooks would be permitted. Just for one day. Then the bashers can come back in full force the next day.

BTW, I'm sorry for letting my star expire. I am trying to keep money off of my credit card. I do intend to donate again by the first of the year.

FWIW, we have some ideas to give members greater control over what you see here. We're still working out the details. But the intent is to give people a way to avoid the worst stuff about the President if that is what you want.
