Question about ignore function

Dear Admins,

I've been having a problem with the ignore function for a while. The issue is that I will choose to ignore one thing only, such as replies, but then I'm not allowed to see anything else from that person, such as their threads.

Today I saw a thread title I wanted to read, clicked on it, and was told I was ignoring this person's threads. However, I only have this person's replies on ignore, because I'm often interested in the topics this person posts as OPs.

Do you know if this has been happening to anyone else and if it will be fixed?

I know you're probably busy with requests and the holidays, but I've been meaning to ask this for so long. It's nothing earth-shaking, I just finally got around to asking. Thanks.
