How often does HCR get put on the floor?
Please consider that when touting this is a step in the right direction because this is the last time in our lifetimes that we're going to see this taken up. Taxing the benefits of the middle class while protecting big pharma and now allowing the prescription drugs to be imported is unbelievable, yet people support this? I am sure I'm going to take a lot of crap for this here but I say kill this thing, I do not want to be forced to buy corporate insurance, nearly everything decent about this bill has been stripped.

2. I wonder how many DUers who are opposed to the current bill
don't have any health insurance at all?

I would guess that a lot of younger, healthier people would rather use the ER and not pay that bill rather than make a monthly payment for insurance.

3. There was a poll on that subject
here on DU. Not sure how many responses it got. Not sure how many were truthful. You can search for it if you wish.

4. Me, for one.
And I think just a whole bunch of the uninsured will still not be able to afford health CARE (not health insurance).
