Chris Christie joins the Republicans completely out of touch with reality
Edited on Thu Dec-08-11 11:34 AM by karynnj
I guess he wanted to prove Kerry right when he said the other day that the Republicans are just making things up.

He spoke to a Jewish Republican group (honoring the disgraceful Sam Fox) and says Obama is timid as the Republican wrote the stimulus and HCR bills - something that would surprise Boehner and McConnell! He also says he is for Romney, because he wants a plain speaking candidate, who does not have focused grouped positions.

This was the above the fold article in my local paper this morning. http://www.dailyrecord.com/comments/article/20111207/NJNEWS/312070049/Christie-calls-Obama-politically-timid-

The entire article seems more surreal than Alice in Wonderland!

Never heard of her. Is she a concubine?

3. He is the Governor of NJ and a rising star in the Republican party
I would say he is considered one of the GOP's heavyweights, but if you click the link you would see why I should not go there.

5. I believe his"rising star" is related to the fact that he somehow figured out
how to get Democrats to vote for him.

Other than Romney, Republicans are not very good at that.

6. Not so much - the nasty Corzine campaign made many Democrats stay home,
while Christie's campaign ran on few details of what he intended to do - hoping that he was blasted by the far right Lonnegan in teh Republican primary to create an image of Christie as the type of moderate Republican that NJ often elects as Governor. (It doesn't help that both of our last two Democratic governors were disgraceful. - Before any out of stater jumps on me, McGreevey quit more because of ethics and corruption issues that were on the horizon than because he was gay. Had he been clean and admitted he were gay, there would have been no reason to resign.)

8. Christie has no coat tails whatsoever. Romney is desperate
and this buffoon (Christie) is not going to help him one bit, imo.

Seconds, anyone?
Oh, hell, he'll go for thirds!

14. Christie's been out of touch with reality all along.
He occasionally finds his way to a factually valid position, like when he pointed out that the wingnut freakout of sharia law is crazy, but you know what they say about a broken clock being right twice a day.

15. He wants someone who doesn't focus-group his positions
and he's backing Romney?

That must be some REALLY strong hash they smoke in the NJ Governor's Mansion.
