Anyone see Newt’s sister on The Rachel Maddow Show yesterday?
There really is a God and Justus for all when it comes to Conservative Politicians :)

Newt’s Sister: Vote for Obama

According to polls out on Wednesday, Newt Gingrich has opened a big lead in three of the first four voting states—but there’s one vote he won’t be getting: his sister’s. Candace Gingrich-Jones, Newt’s lesbian half-sister, will be voting for Obama, she told MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow. Gingrich-Jones said she’s particularly troubled by the GOP’s opposition to gay rights, and while she and Newt are “mutually respectful,” she believes “he is definitely on the wrong side of history when it comes to those issues.”

1. I've seen a few threads/posts on this...
Does anyone actually find this surprising? She was pretty vocal about her feelings on him during his heyday in the 90's.

Wasn't she the one that officiated some gay wedding on a tv show? I want to say it was Friends, but I could be wrong.

2. I thought it was "Mad About You",...
...but I may be wrong also.

I thought it was when Paul's sister and their Ob/Gyn got married. Maybe so, maybe not.

PEACE!

4. Just checked. It was Friends...
At least that's what Wikipedia tells me. I guess my memory isn't fading so quickly after all.

7. And all my gray hair...
...might mean that my brains are seping out!

Who was getting married on "Friends"? I didn't watch the show very much but I don't recall any of the regular characters being gay.

PEACE!

12. Yes. The woman from Herman's Head..
Now THERE's a piece of information that's taking up space in my brain that makes me wish I had a way to purge useless facts from my headspace.

3. It's all about the name
She says the name is Gingrick. So what the heck does it matter anyways.
